Hanging flower baskets adorn the lightpoles in Williamsport's Historic District

Spring has arrived in the Susquehanna Valley, and once again Preservation Williamsport is sponsoring hanging floral arrangments in the Historic District. Look for these bright bouquets on the Victorian-era reproduction light poles along Millionaires Row.

View from the Porch, a First Friday event on June 6, 2008, is a moving cocktail party along West Fourth Street. The Trolley transports people from porch to porch to enjoy drinks and hors d'oevres. The cost is $50 per person; $45 for PW members. The tour begins at the Gazebo by Park Place.

Our annual Members Appreciation event will be held August 14, 2008, during the Little League Grand Slam Parade, and will feature wine and cheese on the porch of the Rowley House.

Preservation Williamsport's Annual Meeting will be held Nov. 20, 2008. The annual dinner is at the Herdic House and the cost is $35/person.

Join us as we celebrate the 10th annual Victorian Christmas this year, slated for November 21, 22 and 23, 2008.
