The Victorian Christmas Event Schedule includes:

Friday, Nov. 19, 2010

For tickets to the following three days of events, please see Tickets & Tour Information. Children under 18 years with adults, and college students with I.D. admitted free to Victorian Christmas Homes Tour.

10 a.m. – 8 p.m.  DuBoistown Garden Club’s 46th Annual Holiday House, "Through a Child's Eyes," Pennington Lounge, Lycoming College, Mulberry Street, Williamsport.  Admission: $4 donation.

6 p.m.  Holiday Parade in downtown Williamsport

Victorian Christmas Committee members ham it up a little in front of one of the hanging baskets which the annual event provides for the historic area of town. Behind them is the Edmond Metzger Home which will be part of the Candle Light Tour this year. From left is Ashley Bogart, House Chairperson for Victorian Christmas, Tony Phillips, his wife Connie Phillips, and Yvonne Roskowski. Phillips' home at 1513 Campbell Street will also be part of the tour.

10 a.m. – 5 p.m.  Mansion Tours – Homes Decorated for the Holiday with Entertainment at Most Sites   Tickets for the tour are $12 and will be sold prior to the event at various locations, including the Lycoming County Visitors Center, and at some homes the day of the event.
 
10 a.m. – 4 p.m.  Church Tours – Four Churches  Please note Annunciation Church closes at 3 p.m.  and Trinity Church opens at 11 a.m. Church tours are free.

8 a.m. – ? Williamsport Growers Market, Little League Boulevard and Pine Street. Pick up your holiday turkey and pumpkins for pie!

10 a.m. – 5 p.m.  DuBoistown Garden Club’s 46th Annual Holiday House, "Through a Child's Eyes," Pennington Lounge, Lycoming College, Mulberry Street, Williamsport.  Admission: $4 donation.

10 a.m.  – 4 p.m.  Carriage Rides at Park Place.  Cost $5/person.

10 a.m. – 4 p.m.  19th Annual Toy Train Expo.  Park Place, 800 West Fourth Street.  Adults $2.  Children free.

10 a.m. – Noon  Locomotive Races at Park Place
Please note:  As a special addition this year, Mayor Gabriel Campana has agreed to display his train.  It is large and will be on the porch of Park Place.

10 a.m. – 4 p.m.  Peter Herdic Transportation Museum Open. Free admission Nov. 21 only.

11 a.m. – 4 p.m.  Thomas T. Taber Museum Open.  858 West Fourth Street.  Special Victorian Christmas Admission $2 adults, children free.  Please note special exhibition of stained glass.

11 a.m. – 2 p.m.  Victorian Soup Luncheon, Trinity Episcopal Church, 844 West Fourth Street $7.50/person (walk in).

2 p.m.  Victorian Tea at the Peter Herdic House Restaurant, 407 West Fourth Street $14/person (reservation only, 570-322-0165).

 

Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010
